No More Kids with Cancer is launching ‘The Mustard Challenge’. Between April 15th and August 5th (National Mustard Day), we’re daring people to take part in a fun and entertaining act of eating a spoon of mustard and sharing their experience, pictures and videos via social media. The Mustard Challenge aims to raise awareness for childhood cancer and increase funding for research that discovers safer, non-toxic and more effective treatments for children with cancer. Why mustard? Today, children are still treated with 1950s drugs derived from the same compound as Mustard Gas, a weapon of World War II.
Janey is a cancer survivor. In December, she shared her story with you on our blog. She's celebrating her 3rd year of remission with us, and raising money for childhood cancer research. Join her class on February 20th and Purvelo will donate all sales to No More Kids with Cancer. From Feb 20-24, donate in Janey's honor here.
